7th Annual Texas Commodity Symposium set for November 28

The seventh annual Texas Commodity Symposium will be held in Amarillo, Texas, on November 28. This premier event, jointly organized by the Texas Wheat Producers Association, Corn Producers Association of Texas, Texas Peanut Producers Board, Texas Grain Sorghum Association and Plains Cotton Growers, Inc., will provide producers and businessmen alike with essential agricultural information pertaining to more than one commodity.

“This year’s lineup of speakers will offer farmers and members of the community a comprehensive look into the current Farm Bill debate, future weather and market trends and state agency activity,” said Rodney Mosier, Executive Vice President of the Texas Wheat Producers Association (TWPA).

The symposium will be held in conjunction with the Amarillo Farm and Ranch Show in the Grand Plaza Room at the Amarillo Civic Center. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude with a catered lunch at noon. For more information, call (806)-352-2191.
