Cotton Board hires PR assistant

The Cotton Board in Memphis, Tennessee announces the hiring of Mitzi Hunt as communications assistant.

Prior to working for the Cotton Board, Hunt served as communications specialist for Lifeblood Foundation, and received her Bachelors of Fine Arts and Communication from the University of Memphis — with a major in journalism and a concentration in public relations.

As communications assistant at the Cotton Board, Hunt will assist in ongoing communications efforts of the Cotton Board to keep the country's cotton producers and importers informed of the activities stemming from the Cotton Research and Promotion Program as conducted by Cotton Incorporated and administered by the Cotton Board. In addition, she will create various print advertisements, write editorial feature stories and news releases and create informational materials that help convey the activities of the Cotton Research and Promotion Program.
