A DEVASTATING hail storm destroyed several corn fields in North Texas in early June. Little remains of this once promising field near Van Alstyne.
HAIL STONES shredded corn stalks and ears and battered the plants to the ground during recent North Texas storms. The area has received beneficial rains but some fields have been destroyed.
