‘Phoning it in’ on center pivot irrigation tire pressure

A low tire on a center pivot irrigation boom can cause some major headaches for growers. Aside from the cost of a ruined tire or damaged gear box, the down time can cost growers’ yield. Valley Irrigation’s John Rasmus discusses how the new Valley Tire Pressure Monitoring System can help producers avoid some of those headaches. Rasmus was interviewed at the World Ag Export in Tulare, Calif.
