New Mexico Chile Conference Feb. 1-2

The 2010 New Mexico Chile Conference is set for Feb. 1-2 at the Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces. The event is hosted annually by New Mexico State University’s Chile Pepper Institute. 



Designed to deliver practical solutions for chile growers, processors and producers, attendees of this year’s conference will see the latest mechanical harvesters and destemmers, hear solutions to disease and pest management problems and learn the latest organic growing information. Those attending the conference will also have a chance to visit commercial booths and view current NMSU research poster displays. 
 


Registration at the conference is $110. Registration is available online at www.chilepepperinstitute.org, by phone at (575) 646-3028 or by fax at (575) 646-6041. Registration includes conference activities, a welcome reception and silent auction Monday, Feb. 1, as well as lunch, coffee breaks, and a social hour and poster session following the afternoon speakers on Tuesday, Feb. 2. 



Monday’s welcome reception will run from 6-8 p.m. with food, a no-host bar and the annual silent auction. Hotel accommodations must be made separately. Special room rates for participants are available.
