Helena Chemical Company has been appointed exclusive distributor for Brotomax in the U.S., excluding California, by Agrometodos, an agricultural company based in Spain.
Brotomax is a nutrient complex that helps woody plants overcome stress and decay, especially from pathogens that attack wood and plug the vascular system. Brotomax can be used in many crops. It is especially effective in permanent crops such as citrus and fruit trees, and can also be used on many vegetable crops.
Brotomax (8-0-0) contains micronutrients, including copper, manganese and zinc. The nutrient complex is easily absorbed by leaves, branches and plant roots.
Brotomax's unique components play a key role in chlorophyll synthesis, activating various enzymes and proteins and influence phenol-oxidase enzymes and phenolic oxidation that are important for the natural defense system of the plant.
Brotomax works through plant pathways to help regulate the vegetative cycle of crops and help regenerate permanent crops. It helps plants overcome stress and decay, especially from pathogens that attack wood and plug the vascular system.
Used in combination with fungicides, Brotomax helps balance nutrition and micronutrient deficiencies. Brotomax contains urea nitrogen that participates in the structure of the protein molecule. The product also contains copper, which becomes part of the phenol-oxidase enzymes involved in phenolic oxidations.
This process is important for lignification as well as for the natural defense system of the plant.
Brotomax also contains manganese, which takes part in chlorophyll synthesis, and zinc, an activator of various enzymes and part of the protein synthesis process.
Brotomax can be applied as a spray or in drip irrigation systems and is compatible with many agrichemical products. In stone fruits, Brotomax should not be applied with Ziram, Captan or fertilizers containing amino acids. Additionally, do not apply in combination with oils.
