OneSource, the Griffin, Pioneer and DuPont cotton grower's program delivering product cost replacement due to adverse weather conditions and input cost reduction opportunities, has added a new benefit level for 2003.
Cotton growers can now qualify for a 2 percent, end-of-season rebate on qualifying purchases of at least two OneSource eligible products totaling at least $35,000. This new $35,000 participation level is in addition to the in-place 3 percent rebate for $50,000 purchases of at least two eligible products and the $25,000 Product Cost Replacement benefit from 2002.
“This is in keeping with our goal of constantly improving OneSource and encouraging even more growers to participate,” says Mike Cunnane, cotton marketing manager for DuPont.
“Growers can still be eligible for the product cost replacement benefit of OneSource, by purchasing at least two qualifying products totaling a minimum of $25,000 through retailers. But this new participation level will allow even more cotton growers in the OneSource program area to enjoy the input cost reduction benefit of OneSource.”
Scott Addy, Director of Marketing for Griffin L.L.C. agrees.
“This adjustment to the program is in response to what growers have told us they want and need,” he says. “The lower requirement for participating in the rebate portion of OneSource means that even more people can benefit.
“Growers have told us that no one else in the industry is offering this combination of safeguards and rebates and that they appreciate it, especially in these difficult times.”
Qualifying products for OneSource include the entire cotton portfolios of both Griffin L.L.C. and DuPont-Pioneer.
