The third annual Texas Commodity Symposium, hosted by Corn Producers of Texas (CPAT), Texas Grain Sorghum Association (TGSA), Texas Wheat Producers Association (TWPA) and a new partner this year - Plains Cotton Growers, Inc., (PCG) will be held Wednesday, Dec. 3, in a new location in the Heritage Room at the Amarillo Civic Center.
“Last year's event was said to be ‘one of a kind in Texas’ and we look forward to continuing this tradition with the addition of cotton,” TWPA Executive Vice-President Rodney Mosier said.
Steve Verett, PCG executive vice-president said, “With the continued expansion of cotton acreage in the Panhandle region, being a part of the Texas Commodity Symposium is a tremendous opportunity for PCG.
“Not only does it provide our members an opportunity to interact with producers of other commodities, it also gives them a chance to learn more about issues that affect us all.”
