Texas Tech organizes textiles conference in emerging India market

Texas Tech University will be organizing the 4th International Conference on, “Advances in Textiles, Machinery, Non-woven and Technical Textiles,” in Coimbatore, India, June 18 through 20, 2007.

This conference is of interest to the U. S. cotton industry as India soon will be following the Chinese model and will import huge quantity of cotton. The conference is broad based and covers fibers to fabrics, defense to technical textiles. Topics of interest to the cotton industry will include developments in cotton trade and marketing.
